2016 Sparkling Pinot Noir Laura
A lovely delicate pale pink sparkling wine made predominately from Pinot Noir. Delightfully dry, elegant and crisp with strawberry and cherry flavours and a long fine finish
Lemon zest and cumquat aromatics, fresh with white flowers and lime flavours following through with talc and slate. Lively and vivid, soft cool climate acids pairs beautifully with Tasmanian seafood.
2018 Pinot Gris
With a beautiful light rose gold colour this wine is complex and fruity with a delicate pear aroma and quince and pear flavours. Crisp and clean finishing with softness from minimal old oak treatment adding to the texture.
Floral and fragrant with elderflower fruit aromas with overtones of Lychee and red apples. Spicy but not sweet with spice dominant on the palate and a very long, dry finish.
2018 Pinot Rose
A delightful pale salmon pink with a fruity palate showing summer berry and strawberry flavours with a fruity nose and a dry finish. Great for casual summer dining, chill and enjoy.
2017 Dunbabin Family Reserve Pinot Noir
Only in exceptional years do we make our Family Reserve. 2017 was an exceptional year. Our 2017 Dunbabin Family Reserve Pinot Noir is a wonderful wine with floral notes of violets overlaying the complex earthy notes of forest floor and mushrooms. This elegant wine is made from a special blend of D4V2 and MV6 and the oldest vines on the property planted in 1992 in the premium block at the top of the hill overlooking the cellar door. The longer time in new and older Burgundy oak barrels lifts the wine with lovely savoury truffle flavours hinting at the future this wine will have with judicious cellaring for 8 plus years. Smooth with savoury soft spice and earthiness, and a soft seamless silkiness in the mouth with a density of flavours. Elegant and sophisticated, best with lamb or duck.
2017 Reserve Shiraz
There is loads of white pepper on the nose and blueberries, currants, and spiciness. A very silken texture with vibrant red fruits, hints of anise, elegance, length and well-integrated tannins. With more in common with a Syrah than most Australian Shiraz, this wine has wow factor to impress with its real finesse. Try our Shiraz with slow cooked lamb shoulder or seared tuna or a standing rib roast.
2017 Reserve Pinot Gris
An amazing food wine this Pinot Gris has a great deal of fruit weight with a range of flavours from poached pear, apple and stone fruit. It has a citrus and vanilla oak nose with a balanced soft mouthfeel and a long finish. 100% French oak barrel fermented.
2017 Reserve Chardonnay
An elegant cool climate Chardonnay with aromatics of apple and pear which follow through to the palate along with peach flavours. The French oak is rich and creamy framing the well-defined fruit. Suitable to age for some years.
2017 Reserve Riesling
A silky smooth Riesling with aromatics of citrus, exceptional length and harmonious citrus flavours. Loads of lime flavours and some skin contact to enhance texture. Awarded 95 points by Halliday.
